Galveston/Houston Diocesan-wide Memorial Mass for Deceased CDA Members
A diocesan-wide memorial Mass has been scheduled for deceased CDA members for Saturday, November 15, 2008 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Pearland, Texas. The Mass is being hosted by District 17. The Courts in District 17 are:

Court Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal #1855
Court Queen of the Universe #1793
Court Star of the Sea #228
The District 17 Deputy is Catherine Greb.
This will be a combined mass with the Knights of Columbus, District 1, Fourth Degree. A nominal fee of $6.00 per member attending is required and is due on October 7.
All State Officers, State Chairmen, District Deputies, Court Officers, and Past State Regents are asked to gather in the foyer of the church at 9:30 AM. Past State Regents and State Chairmen wishing to process into the church must be dressed in white with white shoes. All Catholic Daughter Officers and District Deputies are asked to wear robes and white shoes to Mass. Changing rooms are available.
Regents: US mail or E-mail a list of your deceased members for the past two (2) years (years 2007 & 2008) to Ginger Shea, ginshea@swbell.net by October 18, 2008. A designated member of your court – must be dressed in white with white shoes – will enter church and light a candle(s) representing the deceased member(s) of their court. State Regent Carolyn Bachmann will light one large candle for all passed deceased members.
The Court has received an invitation regarding this function. Do make plans on attending this very spiritual CDA day.
