The State Convention is April 23-26. There is a CDA walk/run event. No one was interested in participating.
Janice Rejsek reported on the Fiesta Fundraiser. 125 tickets were sold. $915.58 was made. Silent auction Chair, Nancy Zurek, reported that the auction took in $607.00. $200 for use of the cafeteria had not been paid as of March 31, 2009.
Valentine Bake Sale made $1051.00
A motion was made to give two $500.00 scholarships this year by Joyce Bartos. It was seconded and passed.
Norma thanked everyone who participated in tonights rosary.
Read Across America report was given by Shirley Myers.
A motion was made to make three 50-year members as lifetime members was made by Ruth Kendziora. It was seconded and passed.
Norma discussed plans for a fundraiser/raffle. Plans are to take the raffle out of the June Salad Supper. Instead, it was proposed to do a fundraiser on May 31 at the K.C. Hall. Cathy Bittner made a motion to have the fundraiser raffle on May 31. Norma has talked to Stan Hruska for help from the K.C.s. After discussion, the motion carried.
Our District Deputy, Alma Slawinski, discussed the multi-district retreat on Saturday, March 28. There will be a continental breakfast, and a chicken noodle soup and chicken salad sandwich lunch. Registration begins at 8:00 am and lasts until 9:00 am. There will be an installation of new members. Deadline is March 18 to pay the $10.00 fee.
New Business
K.C. Houston Council is requesting submittals for advertising. Adele Segura from Our Lady of Guadalupe, will join with us to get an ad. Motions made by Joyce Bartos to do a $50.00 ad (1/8 page) was seconded and passed. The ad was not paid as of March 31, 2009.
Bazaar Chair, Suzanne Mangel, asked for a raffle donation from the Court for the Church bazaar. A motion was made by Cathy Bittner to donate $250.00. It carried. The donation was not paid as of March 31, 2009.
DRE request for Easter for the children in CCE. 175 students were enrolled as of April 1. The children are from 3 years old to their junior year in high school. Dorothy Pospisil made a motion to donate $300.00. It was amended to $350.00 and was seconded and passed. Alma Slawinski and Cathy Bittner are co-Chairs for the project.
40 days for life. Pray the rosary for one hour in front of Planned Parenthood.
Prizes were given away for the adoptive family and door prize.
The Closing prayer was led by the Worthy Regent.

February 2009
Worthy Regent Norma Locker called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm after a February new membership social. The opening prayer was led by Cathy Bittner. This was followed by the pledge of allegiance and singing the opening ode. Silent roll call showed 4 officers and 77 members present, being a quorum.
Worthy Regent Norma Locker welcomed everyone, especially the new members and guest speaker, Sheila Martinka, First Vice State Regent. Sheila spoke to us about CDA membership with a program entitled, Together We Are Strong. There are 88,000 CDA members in the United States. A token of appreciation was given to Sheila.
New members include Olga Cunda, Donna Brewer, Cindy Brady, Leona Sebesta, Nancy Hockaday, and Soila Segura.
Worthy Regent Norma Locker gave them the oath of office.
Minutes of the January meeting and correspondence was read by Recording Secretary, Jeanette Rehak. The Minutes were approved.
Worthy Regent Norma Locker read resolution of condolence for Margaret Rehak. It was given to Jeanette in honor of her mother.
Worthy Regent Norma Locker read the following correspondence. Suzanne Mangel - asked for a donation for bazaar Raffle tickets; Benita Sebesta asked for a donation for B.F. Terry Pro Grad, and Holy Rosary School asked for a donation for the Spring Gala.
First Vice State Regent, Sheila Martinka asked for a monetary gift for the outgoing State Regent.
Correspondence was to be taken up later.
Bills were read by Jeanette Rehak and approved to be paid. There was only 1 bill to be paid which was for Bernice Freudensprung for a compassion ham, priced at $25.72.
The Financial report was passed out and filed for audit.

Mary Beth Haas for the needy family.
Mary Ondrush - Apostolate. She started with this committee on August 19, 1989.
The Legislative committee discussed the Morality in Media campaign.
Doris Gurecky has 6 applicants for scholarships. There is 1 $500 scholarship. We will decide at the March meeting if we can award a second scholarship.
Leadership Committee Chair, Pat Schimara, made a motion for each committee chair to put in writing what their committee is about. It was seconded and passed. Jill Sumpter will also put this on the website.

Old and New Business
Election of delegates to the state convention was completed. Our Court is allowed 10 delegates plus alternates. The delegates are Pat Schimara, Beverly Waddle, Rose Pederson, Joan Rheaman, Helen Torres, Cathy Bittner, Amelia Burke, Norma Locker, and Janey Schumacher. It was seconded to accept delegates to state convention and approved.
The Fiesta Fundraiser was discussed. It is sold out for Tuesday, February 17. Janice Rejsek thanked everyone who helped sell tickets. More silent auction items are needed. Call Doris Gurecky for donation information.
For the Holy Rosary Spring Gala, a motion was made by Joyce Bartos to give $100.00. It was seconded and carried.
The donation to the bazaar was tabled until the March meeting.
A donation of $10 to each National Charity (9 of them) was seconded and carried.
As per the standing rules, $50.00 was approved to be given to each High School (qty 3) for the Pro Grad events.
Dorothy Pospisil thanked the 21 ladies that helped with refreshments for the February meeting.
We need door prizes for the May/June raffle. Beverly Waddle will take all donations. Please sign up.
Read Across America is Monday, March2. The Chair is Shirley Myers and Pam Labay.
Norma thanked everyone who spoke at church to encourage new members.
The March meeting will start at 6:30 pm with a rosary for Lent instead of refreshments. The April meeting will also start with a rosary at 6:30 pm at the Grotto, weather permitting. (Webmaster note: The April meeting will actually start at 7:15 pm on the 14th, following the Altar and Rosary Society.)
ACCW Western Deanery was discussed. It is $85.00/year to join the Western Deanery. A motion was made by Alma Slawinski to join. It was seconded and approved.
There is a Valentines Day bake sale worker sign up sheet.
District Deputy, Alma Slawinski, discussed the multi-district Lenten retreat to be held Saturday, March 28. Registration is from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. Father Don Rupert will celebrate the Mass. There will be a continental breakfast and Chicken Noodle Soup lunch made by Larry Bittner. Olga Samingo will be the guest speaker. We will conclude with a rosary at the grotto.
The needy family prize was won by Dolores Wolff.
The door prize was won by Velma Bonura. She donated it to the needy family fund.

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court 1476 held its monthly business meeting on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 in Holy Rosary Marian Hall. Worthy Regent Norma Locker called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm. Cathy Bittner led us in prayer to end abortion. This was followed by the pledge of allegiance and the singing of the opening ode. Silent roll call showed all officers present and 50 members, being a quorum.
One new member, Shawn Stavinoha, was welcomed by Worthy Regent Norma Locker. She recited the oath of office.

Worthy Regent Norma Locker discussed parliamentary procedures, specifically ways to make a motion and the types of motions.

Needy Family - Mary Beth Haas said that no funds were taken from the Court because she had generous donations. She spent $281.73 for Christmas for the needy family.
Apostolate - Mary Ondrush gave her report.
Compassion - Bernice Freudensprung gave her report.
Bingo - Janice Rejsek handed out bingo schedules.
Scholarship - Doris Gurecky reported that forms need to be filed by January 31.
Everyone sang Happy Birthday to all January birthdays.
The Standing Rules discussion was led by Jill Sumpter. After much talk and some changes, Cathy Bittner made a motion to approve the Standing Rules as corrected. It was seconded and passed.
Janice Rejsek discussed the Fiesta Fundraiser in the cafeteria. Tickets are $10.00 each for Tuesday, February 17. There will be a silent auction during the Fiesta Dinner. Nancy Zurek will chair and Doris Gurecky will co-chair. We need 12 silent auction items valued at $25.00-$30.00 each. Each item will be a monthly theme. For example, for December the theme should be Christmas.
At the Christmas bake sale 75 ladies gave cash and baked goods. We sold out. $938.50 was raised with $25.00 more as donations, totaling $963.50.
The Christmas party financial report was given by the party Chair, Jeanette Rehak.
The Court decided to contribute $25.00 along with the other 3 Courts of District 10 for a $100.00 advertisement for the state convention.
The election of delegates to the state convention will be held during the February Court meeting.
Dorothy Pospisil was announced as the Valentine Tea Party Chair, along with Co-Chairs Joyce Bartos and Lillian Kajawa. Sheila Martinka will be the guest speaker for the Valentine Tea. To encourage new members there will be a flyer in the church bulletin and there will be speakers at all masses on January 31 and February 1. Rose Pederson will speak on Saturday, but speakers are needed for all other masses.
The Supreme Court decision on Roe vs. Wade anniversary is January 22. A question was put forth if this Court should send a donation to Libby Ramirez to attend the March For Life event in Washington, D.C. Jill Sumpter made a motion to donate $100.00 toward the national officer to attend. It was seconded and passed. There will also be a special rosary on Monday, January 26 at 6:00 pm to end abortion.
Carol Moeller was not at the meeting to discuss Covenant House.
The Valentine Bake Sale will be discussed at the February meeting.
Father Bill talked about for the good of the order and discussed the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women.
A reminder about the dedication of the new Parish Hall on Saturday, January 24 at 10:00 am was announced. Cardinal Dinardo will be here for the dedication.
Pam Labay won the door prize for the Needy Family.

The CDA Memorial Mass service was started at 6:30 pm.
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Holy Rosary 1476 held its monthly business meeting on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in Marian Hall. Worthy Regent Norma Locker called the meeting to order at 7:18 pm.
Silent roll call showed 4 officers and 43 members present being a quorum. Financial Secretary, Charlotte Carlson, was absent because of her recent surgery. Chaplain Father Bill was also present. One new member was unable to attend because of illness. Cathy Bittner led us in prayer, followed by the pledge of allegiance and the opening ode.

A speech was made by the Catholic Daughter of the Year, Janey Schumacher.
A report was made about CDA Sunday. Martha Krolczyk thanked everyone on the committee. A Financial Report will be put in the newsletter.
Sharon Kristynik reported on WRAP. We passed out 800 ribbons and collected 467 signatures. She thanked everyone who helped.
The Christmas party was discussed. $6.00 is the price for the meal with us serving ourselves or $7.00 if Ladds serves us. Also, we discussed adding extra money for decorating expenses. After much discussion, a motion was made for the $7.00 price by Janice Rejsek for them to serve us. Motion was seconded and passed.
Margaret Broussard thanked people that helped with refreshments.
An Invitation was read for February 7, 2009 to the Lenten Preparation in Sweeney.
District Deputy, Alma Slawinski, discussed the retreat to be held at Holy Rosary on March 28, 2009. We will revisit the help needed in January.
The fund raising project was discussed by Janice Rejsek. She suggested February 10, 2009, for a Fiesta Fund Raiser. Discussions were held. A style show is impossible at this time. A motion was made by Joyce Bartos to have the fund raiser on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 in the school cafeteria. It was seconded and passed. After a brief discussion, the motion was made by Joyce Bartos to charge $10.00 for the dinner. It was seconded and passed. Tickets are available at Fiesta. Call Janice Rejsek for more information.
The State Convention will be in McAllen, Texas in April. A financial support motion was made by Janey Schumacher to donate $200.00 to the state convention. The motion failed. Joyce Bartos moved to give $100.00 to the state convention. It passed.
A motion was made by Rose Pederson to get a $300.00 brick paver in front of the new parish hall. The motion passed.
The Christmas Bake Sale will be held on December 13 and 14. We need a Chair for the bake sale. The funds are ear-marked for scholarships.
Mary Frances Hruska talked about the retreat in Bunker Hill on February 6-8. Father Moons will talk to us at the January meeting about it if we are interested. We did not approve.
Jill Sumpter passed out copies of the current standing rules and the proposed standing rules. Everyone is charged to review them and this will be revisited at the January meeting.

Silent roll call showed 4 officers and 48 members present being a quorum. Financial Secretray, Charlotte Carlson, was absent because of her recent surgery. Chaplain Father Bill was also present. One new member was present. Denise McIntrye was welcomed and recited the oath of office. There were 2 members celebrating their 50 years in our Court. They were Violet Vacek and Adele Mensik. They were congratulated.

Committee Reports
Mary Beth Haas gave her report on the needy family. She needs help with her electric bill which is $145.00 The St. Vincent DePaul Society was contacted, but she is not eligible. She needs about $200.00 to cover her expensesthrough Christmas. It was proposed by Cathy Bittner that we pass around the hat to pay the electric bill and this was done. Janice Rejsek asked to take the funds out of court expenses and in the future not to always pass the hat. Joyce Bartos made a motion to pay the light bill. It was passed.
The Apostolate committee report was given by Mary Ondrush.

Worthy Regent Norma Locker lead a discussion about the 2008-2009 budget. A motion to accept the budget was made by Mary Ondrush. It was approved.
Ruth Kendziora made a motion to accept 2 new 50-year members to be lifetime members. They are Violet Vacek and Adele Mensik. It was approved.
A Memorial Mass will be held on November 15, 2008 in Pearland, Texas. Members need to pay $6.00 to Charlotte Carlson or Jeanette Hudec (standing in for Charlotte) if they plan to attend.
WRAP Chair, Sharon Krystinik, discussed the WRAP plans for October 26 which is to pass out white ribbons at all masses and to solicit signatures for a petition. Sharon announced that she needs helpers at each mass.
The Covenant House email from Lillian Hansen was tabled at this time.
The Catholic Daughter of the Year for Court Holy Rosary 1476 was Janey Schumacher.
CDA Sunday Chair, Martha Krolcyk, stated that more jumbo raffle items were needed for the October 19, 2008 event. The event will take place after the 9:00 am mass and the lifetime members of the Court will be honored.
Jill Sumpter, Chair of the Standing Rules Committee announced that the committee meeting was postponed because of Hurricane Ike. Committee members will meet today.
Our Memorial Mass is to be held on Wednesday, November 5, before our meeting. Father Bill will celebrate the Mass.
Christmas party Chair, Jeanette Rehak, discussed caterers for the December 2 Christmas Party. A motion was made by Joyce Horlica to accept Ladd's Smokehouse as the caterer, and to have chicken-fried steak. We serve ourselves. Motion passed. Then we discussed side dishes. Motion was made by Cathy Bittner for Jeanette and her committe to pick out the side dishes. Motion passed.
Janice Rejsek had suggestions for fund raising. This was tabled until November or January.
A plea was made for help because of Hurricane Ike from the State Court Regent, Carolyn Bauchman. Joyce Bartos made a motion to give $100.00 to the State Court. The motion passed.
It was announced that a retreat will be held on March 28, 2009, for Districts 10, 28, and 37 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in the new Parish Hall.
Rose Pederson asked for helpers for hospitality.
Sharon Krystinik asked for helpers to pass out ribbons on October 25 and 26 before all massesl
Jeanette Rehak announced that Gloria Mican had sign-up sheets to sign up for appetisers and Joyce Bowker and Barbara Jean Sacheli had sign-up sheets for desserts for the Christmas party.
Closing prayers and a blessing was given from Father Bill. The meeting was closed at 9:35 pm. Our next meeting is Wednesday, November 5, 2008 with Memorial Mass at 6:30 pm and refreshments/meeting to follow.

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Holy Rosary Court #1476 held its business monthly meeting on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 in Holy Rosary Marion Hall. Worthy Regent Norma Locker calledt he meeting to order at 7:13 pm. Cathy Bittner set the mood for our meeting with a chair in front of the officer's table for Jesus to be at our meeting. Our opening prayer was lead by Jill Sumpter. Pledge of Allegiance was recited and thepening ode was sung. Silent roll call showed 5 officers and 58 members being a quorum.
Two new members were present. Kathy Poncik and Melinda Mican, daughter-in-law of Gloria Mican. Worthy Regent Norma Locker welcomed them and they recited the oath of office.

For June, the ending balance in the checking account was $6,733.21, the needy family fund to be $288.41, and the scholarship fund at $354.65, bringing the available funds to $6,090.15. For July, the checking account balance was $6,337.71, the needy family fund to be $288.41, and the scholarship fund at $354.65 and available funds being $5,694.65.For August, the checking account balance was $6,193.71, the needy family fund to be $288.41, and the scholarship fund at $354.65 and available funds being $5,550.65. Joyce Bartos asked about the Cake Spin funds from the church bazaar. No report has been given yet from the church office.

Worthy Regent Norma Locker also gave areport on the 52nd NationalCDA Biennial Convention. She recommended all to attend the convention in order to get ideas of things for us to do in our court.

Rose Pedersono gave a report on the Cake Spin booth. She thanked all co-chairs and reported total income from cakes and pies, cash and check donations to be $1487.00 with no expenses. 120 CDA members participated. She asked that we spend some money for new decorations for 2009 since we will be in the new parish hall.
Report on St. Vincent dePaul, one of our charities, was given by Jo Short.
Janey Schumacher made a motions to give $500.00 this year to our local St. Vincent dePaul Society. Motion was carried.
Morality in Media was discussed by Worthy Regent Norma Locker. The campaign is 10/26-11/2 Acronynm'd WRAP - White Ribbons Agaist Pornography, the motion to participate was made by Joyce Bartos by handing out ribbons at church. Chair is Sharon Kristynik. Motion carried.
The Convenant House Charity was discussed by Carol Moeller. We should bring extra calendars to help out. Cathy Bittner will get back with other ways to help out.
The Catholic Daughter of the Year was voted on by silent ballot. The winner will be revealed at the October meeting.
CDA Sunday iwll be on October 19 at the 9:00 am Mass for all CDA members and spouses. Martha Krolcyk and Grace Guidry are chairing the event. DA members iwll serve as Eucharist Ministers and Ushers. A reception will follow.

Motion was made by Ruth Kendzioora to accept all members who have benn a membe rfor more than 50 years as lifetime members. Motion was passed.
Motion as made by Rose Pederson that we spend up to $250.00 on CDA Sunday. Out of that we will donate $50.00 tobthe Altar Society for flowers on the altar.
Rosary leaers for the 3rd Saturday at the 7:00 am Mass were thanked.
The Standing Rules Committee will meet and give a report at the October meeting. They will be discussing standing rules to be approved or changed. Jill Sumpter is chair. Also on the committee is Dorothy Popisil, Cathy Bittner, Ruth Kendziora and Jeannette Hudec.
CDA Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 5, at 6:30 pm and presided by Father Bill Bartniski.
Christmas Party to be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2008. It will be chaired by Jeannette Rehak.
Words of Wisdom were given by Father Bill. He wants a special Mass to be held on October 7, 2008 for the Feast of the Holy Rosary. It will be held before our meeting.

Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher thanked the following CDA members Alma Slawinski (Chair), Helen Torres, Pat Schimara, Mary Ann Olive, Margaret Ainsworth, Margaret Broussard, Janice Rejsek, and Pam Labay for helping with the Holy Rosary Church Confirmation reception.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that we made a total of $1,598.25 at the
Spaghetti Fundraiser and a net income of $1,252.04 after bills were paid.
New Business:
CDA member Dorothy Pospisil thanked all of the people that were on the nominating committee for the election of new officers for 2008-2010.
CDA members Janice Rejsek and Doris Gurecky were tellers for the election of officers.
CDA member Joyce Bartos made a motion to approve three officers by acclamation. The motion was second and passed.

Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced to the court had to decide on an amount of money to give to Father Dan Warden for his Birthday at the June Salad Supper. CDA member Sharon Kristynik made a motion to give Father Dan $100.00. The motion was second and passed.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that the court needed a chairperson for the June Salad Supper. CDA members Mary Ondrush and Jeanette Rehak volunteered to chair this event together.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that the court was in need of a chairperson for the Church Bazaar Cake Spin. The following CDA members volunteered to chair together: Irene Cervenka, Joan Rhemann, Rose Pederson, and Norma Locker.

Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced to the court that Tickets for the Spaghetti Dinner would be sold after all masses and that she needed help.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher discussed with the Court about increasing the donation from $20.00 to $50.00 for each of the three High Schools. CDA court member Dorothy Pospisil informed the court that we have a standing rule 19 in place and that it would have to be amended. Janice Rejsek moved to change the amendment to read $50.00 for each school. The motion was second and passed.
Spaghetti Fundraiser - Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced to the Court that she had sign-up sheets for the Fundraiser to be held on April 20th for workers and donations for flags up. Janey reminded the court that she would be cooking the sauce on Saturday and to bring scrapbooks and pictures on Saturday morning between 10am 12 pm to set up an exhibition display.
Worthy Regent Janey said the Spaghetti Dinner will have a chairperson for each event:

New Business:
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that the court had been asked to donate either a $250.00 or $500.00 gift card for the raffle tickets. Lillian Kujawa made a motion that we give a $250.00 gift card for the raffle tickets. The motion was second and passed.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher addressed the Court that Alicia of Carmen Park was asking for a donation of sports equipment for the poor children of Cameron Park. CDA member Rose Pederson made a motion to donate $50.00. The motion was second and passed. Several CDA members also added to this cause totaling $175.00.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced to the Court that the CDA audit would be held on April 8th. Members Judy Janecka and Ginger Pawlak signed up to help and worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that we needed one more person if anyone was interested.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that we needed a chairperson for the June Salad Supper and said that we would be installing officers and inviting Charter Members as special guests for our 60th anniversary of the Court.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that the Confirmation Reception would be held on April 11th and that Alma Slawinski is the Chairman and that she was in need of cookies. She mentioned that if there was anybody interested in helping to please be there by 6 p.m.

Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher asked the Court if they would like to donate money to the Holy Rosary School Library. After much discussion, Mary Beth Haas made a motion to donate $300.00 to the Holy Rosary School Library. The motion was second and passed.
Christmas Party - Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that we spent a total of $337.87 at our CDA Christmas Party,
Spaghetti Fundraiser - Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher asked the court to set a price for the plates for our Spaghetti Dinner/Fundraiser. CDA member Rose Pederson made a motion to set the price at $7.00 at the door and $6.00 in advance. The motion was second and passed.
Worthy Regent Jane Schumacher reminded the court that we were still in need of volunteers for the April Fundraiser and that sign up sheets were on the table for workers, donations for flags up and workers to help Saturday with cooking and Sunday.
New Business:
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that the Pastoral Council needed help working the check-in desk for the Church Directory Pictures and would appreciate any help that they could get from the CDA Court.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that Holy Rosary Church needs help to welcome new parish members at Marion Hall.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that the Annual Holy Rosary School Gala was on April 25th and asked the Court if they were interested in making a donation. District Deputy Alma Slawinski made a motion to give $100.00 to the Holy Rosary Spring Gala. The motion was second and passed.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that the floor was open for Delegates and Alternates to be nominated to go to the National Convention in Albuquerque, N.M. on July 16 20, 2008.

Americawould take place on March 3rd and that if anybody was interested, they could contact Shirley Myers or Pam Labay.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that the Court needed to make a donation to the school library for Read across
America.CDA member Joyce Bartos made a motion to give $150.00. The motion was second and passed. After much discussion the motion was amended and rescinded until the March meeting.
New Business:
The court received a pledge card in the mail from the Diocesan Service Fund 2008 appeal. The executive board thought that we should give to this worthy cause. The court decided that they would not participate.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that Holy Rosary Religious Education would be having a Chili Cook-Off On February 23rd to help send our Religious Education High School Students to Steubenville. The executive board wanted to have a cook-off team to support our students and religious programs and also promote CDA. Member Cathy Bittner made a motion to have a Chili Cook-Off Team and an information table promoting our CDA Court. The motion was second and passed.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced to the court that there would be a sign-up sheet on the table for members to come and help promote Catholic Daughters and give out applications to sign-up ladies for our court.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher reminded the court that the next meeting would be held on Wednesday March 5th in the School Cafeteria due to voting Primaries and to please bring their rosaries because we would be saying the rosary for Lent.
Worthy Regent Janey Schmucher announced that we would be having our annual fundraiser in April in the School Cafeteria from 10:30 am 2 pm and that the court will have sign-up sheets for workers and desserts. The court will sell desserts at the dinner.
District Deputy Alma Slawinski talked to the court about the meaning of Lent and what we should do for Lent.

CDA member Joyce Bartos made a motion that we have the raffle with the June salad supper. The motion was second and passed.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher read a letter from Libby Ramirez asking for a donation for the March of Life. CDA member Cathy Bittner made a motion that the court donate $125.00. The motion was second and passed.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that the National Convention would be held July 16th-19th in Albuquerque New Mexico. She stated that we would vote at the March meeting for 4 Delegates and 8 alternates.
Worthy Regent Janey Schumacher announced that was a Multi-District sign-up sheet for those who would like to go.
